As you may be aware from media reports, the local school boards are working with Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region on a pilot project to test the viability of using video cameras on school bus “stop arms” to record drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses. School buses at Queensmount school may be equipped with stop arm cameras that record everything in the vicinity of the school bus.
