Pond study programs are one of the outdoor education department’s most-loved field trips. From wriggly tadpoles to stealthy water scorpions, students love to discover the diversity of aquatic ecosystems.
This Friday, our outdoor education staff will go live from the pond at Camp Heidelberg Outdoor and Environmental Education Centre, providing a venue for students across the board to experience the rich learning opportunities afforded by pond habitats.
We invite everyone to join this exciting livestream event.
WHEN: Friday, October 23, 2020
TIME: 10:00 a.m.
WHERE: YouTube
As with other outdoor education live events, students are encouraged to participate by submitting questions for staff to answer during the livestream. As a special treat, outdoor educator Sean McCammon will be performing an original song to wrap up the pond event. Students are encouraged to brainstorm their own verses and submit their lyrics. Sean will be choosing a few student verses to perform.
