Today, the Ministry of Education announced back-to-school plans for September 2021. Our staff are reviewing the Ministry’s just released COVID-19: Health, safety and operational guidance for schools (2021-2022). We will be sharing details for how this will affect Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) students and families in the coming days.

What we know

  • Students will return to daily in-person learning for the full school day (except for students registered in the remote learning program)
  • Students and staff will be required to complete daily screening for symptoms of COVID-19
