The newest edition of Caring/Coping/Connecting focuses on how we can all feel grateful by focusing on the positives in our lives, no matter how small they may seem. Research shows us that feeling grateful and expressing gratitude makes us happier, healthier, and more able to tolerate stress and tough situations. In other words, it increases our well-being!
You’ll also find a selection of community events and resources selected to help support the well-being of you and your children. There are events and supports available to everyone from children to adults from our partners at Woolwich Counselling.
Don’t forget about upcoming community events, and the Lunch and Learn sessions hosted by the WRDSB Psychology Department on Wednesdays from 12:15 to 12:45 pm. Upcoming sessions focus on:
- Supporting Your Anxious Child
- Parenting Your Child with ADHD
- Connecting With Your Kids: Validation
- Living With Teenagers
