Due to weather, ALL schools are CLOSED today. All Extended Day Programs are closed as well. The Education Centre is open for those who can get there safely.

Due to current weather conditions the Waterloo Region District School Board has cancelled all buses and schools are closed.  Queensmount Senior Public School is closed today.  There is no school.

Potato Fundraiser

Next week, from February 2-6, the Queensmount in Action leadership team  is holding a Potato drive to support kitchener’s  House of Friendship. House of Friendship raises 300,000 pounds of potatoes per year. Queensmount’s 50th

Dogs on School Property

Please remember that if you are school property with a dog, you must have that dog on a leash at all times.  Do try to avoid crowded areas of students as not all of our students are comfortable around dogs.  Thank you for helping to keep our school community safe.

January 9 – Transportation Cancellation

Due to the current weather conditions ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES in Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich and North Dumfries Townships are cancelled for the Waterloo Region District School Board

The following schools dependent on Transportation are Closed for the Day: Floradale, Linwood, WaterlooOxford D.S.S.
ALL evening RENTAL PERMITS at these schools are CANCELLED

TRANSPORTATION IN ALL OTHER AREAS IS OPERATING AND SCHOOLS ARE OPEN.

All Extended Day Child Care programs are OPEN.
